Coaster Alert

Afternoon lovely friends and followers so far so good -
keeping my commitment to me which I find extremely
difficult - Coasters now completed.

2 tea towels a piece of felt and approx 2 hours of
relaxing sewing = 12 Coasters

Now just who to give some of these away to
will have to give that some thought.

Have a jolly evening

Love and hugs

Blog Update

Afternoon lovely followers and friends xxx

Well I am determined to update this other side to my Crafty life
every couple of days to keep me motivated to continue in this
if not diffierent but complimentary direction.

Being up to date if ever one can be up to date with
Design Team and family commitments I decided to
make some Coasters.

I do not take credit for the Design or method as this was
leaned at a friend's workshop.

Here s my Work in Progress and hoping
to reveal the resolved items in a few days time.

Have a lovely afternoon and thank you for your lovey support.

Fragility

Hey folks well having got my sewing machine downstairs it got me to thinking about
what could I experiment with this evening - then the news was on again about the
awful weather that we ve been experiencing and the ferocity of the seas.

Then I go to thinking about days gone by and tiny boats out there with little
protection and kind of came up with this experimental piece -

Recipe
Denim and Calico Fabric
Matching Threads

Method
3 layers of fabric were placed together
and machine stitched along wavy lines
inspired by lines in the sand
Fabric was then slashed between the
machine stitching then embellished
with hand stitching

Birth of a Different Direction

Evening fellow Friends and Bloggers this Post serves to explain the Birth of this new Blog.

Some of you will be aware that prior to getting involved in Paper Crafting I have a much
longer history in Textiles and Mixed Media.  With this in mind this Blog is intended to act as
a Journal  into further Mixed Media Crafting.

I very much hope that you will join me on this journey and look
forward to your constructive criticism - I do not expect that all of my
experiments will be a success so please feel free to say so -
what could I do differently or even not at all!!

For now I wish you all a Happy Valentine s Evening

Love and hugs Judith xxx
